What it does
Open-Meteo is an open-source weather API that combines forecasts from national weather services such as DWD, NOAA, Météo-France and ECMWF. Ask for any coordinates and get hourly and daily forecasts up to 16 days ahead: temperature, precipitation, wind, cloud cover, UV index and much more. Separate endpoints give historical weather back to 1940, air quality, marine weather, flood forecasts and geocoding of place names. Responses are JSON and no API key is needed. Free for non-commercial use; commercial use needs a paid plan.
