What it does
The Aviation Weather Center of the US National Weather Service publishes aviation weather through its Data API: METAR observations and TAF forecasts for airports worldwide, PIREPs, SIGMETs and other advisories. Ask for one or more airport codes and choose JSON, XML, GeoJSON or raw text. Free, no key needed; keep the number of requests reasonable.
