What it does
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) offers its weather data through api.met.no, the same data that powers the yr.no weather site. The Locationforecast service gives a forecast for any point on Earth for the coming days, with temperature, precipitation, wind, cloud cover and weather symbols. Other services cover sunrise and sunset, nowcasting for the Nordic countries and ocean forecasts. Responses are JSON or XML and no key is needed. Free, also for commercial use, under an open licence that asks for attribution; send a User-Agent that identifies your app and cache the results.
