This page explains which personal data Free Web Services collects, why, who receives it and how long we keep it.

1. What we collect and why

• A service you suggest: the address, name and description you enter in the add your service form. We use it only to review the service and, if it fits, list it in the directory, where these details are public. We do not ask for your name or e-mail address.
• Server logs: like every web server, ours logs each request with the IP address, the page, the date and time and the browser. We use the logs to keep the site secure, to solve problems and for overall visitor statistics.

2. Cookies

The public pages of this site set no cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no analytics or social media scripts on this site.

3. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. Our hosting provider stores the site and its logs for us. The web services listed in this directory are run by their own providers: when you follow a link to one, their privacy policy applies.

4. How long we keep your data

• Suggestions that we do not list are deleted after review.
• Server logs are kept for 7 days.

5. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we publish the new version on this page, with a new date at the top.
