What it does
Statistics Canada's Web Data Service gives Canada's official statistical tables (population, labour, prices, trade, health) with their metadata, series and data points, for example to follow the Canadian consumer price index. Most methods are POST requests with a small JSON body naming a table or vector; whole tables also download as CSV. Free, no key needed.
