Which one to choose
Both remove image backgrounds through an API with a free key. remove.bg gives 50 free calls a month. Photoroom's sandbox allows 1,000 calls a month and 100 a day, but puts a watermark on the result, so it suits testing; it also edits product photos and has an official MCP server. For a few clean cut-outs a month, remove.bg.
