What it does
Open Exchange Rates gives current and historical exchange rates for world currencies as JSON, for price conversion in shops, invoices and finance apps. Call endpoints such as latest.json or historical/.json with an app ID to get a table of rates. Paid plans add more requests, faster updates, a choice of base currency and extra endpoints. Free with a free API key, for 1,000 requests a month with hourly updated rates.
