What it does
The ECB Data Portal API gives the statistics of the European Central Bank, including the daily euro reference exchange rates, interest rates, money supply, inflation and other euro area series. Build a request from a dataset and series key, such as EXR for exchange rates, and get the data back as SDMX-ML (XML), JSON or CSV. It follows the SDMX 2.1 REST standard, and filters let you ask for date ranges or only the latest observations. Free, no key needed; cite the ECB as the source.
