What it does

The Podcast Index API is an open index of podcasts and their episodes, for example to add podcast search to an app or follow new episodes of a show. Requests are GET calls with JSON answers, signed with an API key, the time and a SHA-1 hash of key, secret and time. Free with a free API key. A User-Agent that names your app is required.

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your own key. The JavaScript works in a web page as well as in Node.js 18 or newer.
