What it does
The Telegram Bot API lets you build bots for the Telegram messenger. A bot can send and receive messages, photos, files and polls, show buttons and custom keyboards, work in groups and channels, and accept payments. You get a bot token by talking to @BotFather, then use simple HTTPS requests, with updates delivered by polling or webhooks. Responses are JSON. Free.
