What it does

Requesty is an LLM gateway with one OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic-compatible endpoint for several hundred models, with routing, caching and failover between providers. POST JSON to /v1/chat/completions with the key as a Bearer token; an EU endpoint is available. Free with a free API key for models marked free, up to 200 requests per day, no credit card; other models are paid per token. The list of free models changes as providers add and remove them.

  method: 'POST',
  headers: {

Python

import requests

response = requests.post(
    "https://router.requesty.ai/v1/chat/completions",
    headers={
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY",
        "Content-Type": "application/json",
    },
    json={
        "model": "google/gemma-4-31b-it",
        "messages": [
            {
                "role": "user",
                "content": "Say hello in one word.",
            },
        ],
        "max_tokens": 20,
    },
    timeout=30,
)
print(response.json())

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your own key. The JavaScript works in a web page as well as in Node.js 18 or newer.
