What it does
The official Hacker News API makes the stories, comments, polls and users of Hacker News available in near real time, through Firebase. Get the lists of top, new, best, Ask HN, Show HN and job stories, then fetch each item by its ID. Responses are JSON and there is no rate limit or key. Free.
