What it does
OpenIBAN checks whether an IBAN (international bank account number) is valid, using its length and checksum, and for several countries returns the bank code, BIC and bank name. One simple GET request per IBAN, for example /validate/NL91ABNA0417164300. Responses are JSON. Free and open source, no key needed.
