What it does

The OpenSky Network API gives live positions of aircraft from a worldwide network of ADS-B receivers: call sign, position, altitude, speed and heading, optionally within a bounding box, for example to show the planes above a city. Responses are JSON. Free; anonymous users get 400 credits a day and the latest positions only, and a free account gives 4,000 credits a day and the last hour.
