What it does
Algolia's Hacker News Search API adds full-text search to Hacker News: find stories, comments and polls by keyword, sorted by relevance or by date, and filter by tags, author, points or creation date. Items and user profiles are available too. Use it to follow mentions of a product or topic on Hacker News. Call the REST endpoints with GET and get JSON. Free, no key needed, up to 10,000 requests an hour per IP address.
