What it does
The Vimeo API lets you upload, manage and embed videos, and get data about videos, users, channels, albums and showcases. It is a REST API with JSON responses, using OAuth for access to private data. To simply embed a video you only need oEmbed, without registering an app. Free with a Vimeo account; some features need a paid Vimeo plan.
