RhymeBrain is a rhyming dictionary with an API for word games, songwriting tools and poetry apps. The getRhymes function returns rhyming words with a score, syllable count and word frequency, getWordInfo gives pronunciation in ARPAbet and IPA, and getPortmanteaus blends words. Call rhymebrain.com/talk with GET parameters and get JSON or JSONP; a lang parameter selects languages such as English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. Free, no key needed, up to 350 requests an hour, with a link back to rhymebrain.com required.
