Pollinations.ai is an open source AI service that generates text and images from a simple URL: request text.pollinations.ai/ to get an answer as plain text, or image.pollinations.ai/prompt/ to get a generated picture, with options for size, model and seed. An OpenAI-compatible endpoint is available for chat. Free, works without a key or sign-up; registering gives higher limits. An official MCP server at https://gen.pollinations.ai/mcp/pollinations lets AI agents generate images, text and audio with a free API key.
